Ofcom Update: Pay TV joint submission and Sky's response

Ofcom today published the non-confidential version of the Pay TV joint submission by British Telecommunications plc, Setanta Sport Holdings Ltd, Top Up TV Europe Ltd, Virgin Media Ltd and the response by British Sky Broadcasting Group plc. 

Ofcom received the four parties’ preliminary submission in January 2007. This subsequent version was received in July 2007, and Sky submitted its response in November 2007. 

In March this year Ofcom announced that, following the preliminary joint submission, it would undertake a market investigation of the pay TV market.  Ofcom intends to publish a Consultation document as part of this investigation shortly.
