Ofcom Update: Planned timetable for advertisement of DAB radio multiplex licences

Ofcom has today updated its planned timetable for the advertisement of new DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) radio multiplex licences. Two new licences have been added to the timetable, one to cover Somerset and the other to cover North Wales. The achievable coverage of the North Wales service may be significantly constrained until June 2015 (at the latest) under the terms of international spectrum agreements.

Heddiw mae Ofcom wedi diweddaru ei amserlen arfaethedig ar gyfer hysbysebu trwyddedau amlblecs radio DAB (Darlledu Sain Ddigidol) newydd. Mae dwy drwydded newydd wedi'u hychwanegu at yr amserlen, un ar gyfer Gwlad yr Haf a'r llall ar gyfer Gogledd Cymru. Efallai bydd yr ardal ddarlledu sydd yn bosibl ar gyfer gwasanaeth Gogledd Cymru wedi'i chyfyngu yn sylweddol tan 2015 (o leiaf) o dan delerau sbectrwm rhyngwladol.
