Ofcom Update: Ofcom publishes Gender Equality Scheme (GES)

Ofcom today published its Gender Equality Scheme (GES) for ongoing public consultation. The GES has been drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the Equality Act 2006.

The GES includes a gender equality action plan to ensure Ofcom, both as the UK's communications regulator and as an employer, promotes equality for women and men. The priorities outlined in the plan are aligned to Ofcom's aims and activities as set out in its Annual Plan.
